did you by chance pick up an x800 pro vivo cause if so you can flash your bios with some other software and have a xt pe with 16 pipelines instead of the 12 pipelines your pushing right now.

No frown.gif I didnt know about that at the time. Not a big deal though, you can hard mod it to unlock them but I dont really care to risk it.

also I need fan guards with the chrome circle edge thing, Im not sure what to call it, but basically it will cover up the uneven hole cuts for the fans, I had to use a drill press and a dremel to cut the damn holes out as the scroll saw was just melting the plastic back together and a hole saw that size cost 40USD.

Its amazing the difference 2 80mm fans makes in a case, I downsized my fans since I dont have a fan controller in my case and my processor is hitting 61c under load and its fan is just screaming at like 5300rpm. 61c is nothing so Im not worried, but it is annoying, good thing Ill never have to here that stupid fan again in like 2 days smile.gif

i wrote a few aticles for overclockers.com.. one about distributed computing, the other about overclocking practices.

what sort of metal are you using for the water block(s)?

galvanic corrosion is your enemy. remember this. i've seen $300 setups just crash & burn because of it..

try to use the same metal on all parts, and make sure that water is CLEAN. Algae can form in resevoirs.

Both the blocks are DD copper blocks, with steal fittings. Im adding coolant to the system which has corrosive reducing additives, Im not sure what it does about algae and other spores but Ill keep an eye on that, might pick up some additive for that aswell. Im gong to use pure bottled water for my water base as its PH level is nuetral which will also help decrease corrosion.

The cooling box is going to be setupright beside my comp.

Ya you can make em pretty small, mine is only 11Hx7Wx11L which is pretty small. one way to get that mirror look is make it off plexi glass and apint the inside black. Im thinking of doing that when the coolness of this wears off tongue.gif

I got the Danger Den CPU and GPU blocks. They get a pretty good rating at overclockers.com and are reasonably priced.
