I am selling my 1996 toyota celica st 25th anniversary limited edition:155,000 miles-5 speed-silver-all black interior-18" 5Zigen rims w/new tires-eibach sportline lowering springs-kyb shocks-15% tint all around-jl audio sub in a custom enclosure-amp and cd player. Interior is a 10 out of 10. Exterior is a 9 out of 10 due to scratches and chipping on front bumper due to every day driving.

Would you be interested in trading plus cash for my 97 celica convertable with 76000 miles?

That is my old car. Sad to see her for sale again. The car had NO problems when it left my hand besides a badly chipped front bumper with touchup paint and 2 scratches about an inch long on the passenger side door.

This guy acquired the car by trading me for his 1990 all-trac. Overall my experience with this seller has been only mediocre. There were things that I wasn't alerted of when getting the all-trac. Things you would want to know before you drive 10 hours. Also, things that were promised that were supposed to be mailed to me after the sale still arent here 3 months later. Concerning the "all highway miles" in his autotrader ad. I can confrim that this is NOT true. I know for a fact when I had it that there is no doubt that it wasn't. The guy that owned it before me was a rich doctor who played with it as well as letting his son drive it for everyday use. Granted I feel like they maintained it maticulously it wasn't high way miles.

The last thing that concerns me about the purchase of the car is that when he had it listed on ebay just a little while ago he put that upon recieing the deposit he intended to put a fresh coat of paint on it. I wonder if maybe it was wrecked. No where was the paint bad except the front bumper and those 2 scratches. Also it sold for ebay at around $4200 so I'm not sure why he still has it

Overall my experience with this seller is OK. Thats it OK. This car could still be a very good deal for someone. Its hard to completly trash a car in the 3 months he owned it so I"m not suggesting the new owner did. I"m just suggesting that the new buyer should do an EXTREME check of everything and make sure he gets every bit of info he wants to know and all included parts UP FRONT.

I apologize for publicly criticizing a seller but many of my old 6gc.net buddies have alerted me of both the old ebay auction and now the posting here. Just want to give everone the heads up.

*Another thing. I have already said sometinng to him about using MY pictures. Yet he is still using them, this time on a NEW ad.

I have to fix the paint because of your ****ty touch up job on the bumper!! Everything that was wrong with the car i told you!! I am not gonna play these childish games with you!! If you would go read my newest post on alltrac.net....maybe you would shut your mouth!! I explained to you before i left wisconsin that the car was smoking bad.....and if you did not whant to go through with this to tell me now!!! You still wanted it....not my fault!! And about the highway miles thing.....you are the one who told me that...ass!! And why it did not sell on e-bay is really non of your business!! Its funny that you wanted to buy the car back 2!!! I dont get it!! You cant have it no one can!! "GROW UP" And if someone wants pics...i will send them some of your ****ty touch up job gone bad!! There is nothing wrong with the car!! Are you mad that you traded a car worth $5k for a car worth about $2500....not to mention your "atermarket parts". I would be mad too!! You got to test drive my car before you did the deal....you were like a little kid with a new toy!! you did not have any problems at that time!!

I am not trying to start crap with you....but so far i am trying to follow up on my deal!! I am still gonna send you the spacers that i said i would send. Even though i threw those in after the deal was done!!! I will do my best to find you another blinker!! The guys i bought the spacers from moved to another town in illinois. I am not from illinois...therefore i have to find it!! If anybody is from the chicago -fox lake area and reads this....please verify that "SPEEDQUEST" did move!!

I dont think I need to say anything else. I think you have proved any point for me that needed to be made.

As I said I wasnt tyrin to bash you. I even verifed(helping you sell the car actualy) that up until 3 months ago there was no doubt in my mind that the car was in excelent condition and that I and the first owner kept it EXTREMELY well maintained.

It seems you have cleared up the issue of non selling on ebay and I guess concerning why you want it repainted. I still can't justify painting the whole car when only the front bumper needs it but thats fine.

All I said was for buyers to do a lot of research.

As for sending you my address I have multiple times. I'm still waiting on both the wheel spacers AND the interior parts and the turn signals promised.

No, all info wasnt disclosed about the alltrac before I drove 10 hours. I'm still overall happy with the trade. And I'm glad you were able to get it for $1800! Seems about what it was worth.

Anways, situation is of no concern to me rather than verifying the good condition of the car up until 3 months ago and alerting buyers to find out EVERYTHING from you up front.

Good luck with the sale and congratulations to whover gets this awesome car, if it is still in as good of shape as it was when I got it. I still miss her for what she is, a beautiful, reliable, clean, good gas mileage, good handling car.
