Not a fan of the Civic, hatchback or otherwise, but nice choice on swaps. Now you just have to turbo the sucker (if you want to, its fine with out it) and you will be good. Congrats!

Hm. That's pretty good. JDM goodness. Get a CF hatch spoiler and yes, window tints.

how much did it cost you?

I dont like the single wiper; its not functional and you loose visablity.

Right i have about 6k in it. I am not a big fan of the single wiper but that was done to the car when I got it. I will deal with it until get the rest of the car done though.

Well here is my plan. I am going to have the head and block built with next year or so. The reason I need to do these things is to lower the compression from 11:1 to about 9:1 so when I do turbo it will not blow the motor. I am going to send the block off to Eagle for the build; the reason I am choosing Eagle is because if they build it they garantee up to 30lbs of boost and I want to run about 25lbs. I also plan on a nice fat bottle of spray for the track I thinking a 75 shot. But first things first new shock, springs, and break pads. When I am done I would like 400 plus hp....

Oh one other thing I Kept the celica; I could not get rid of my baby.

I would think the bl;ock couldnt handle that much. But then again arnt the 7a-fe cast compared to the aluminum of honda, and arnt aluminum weaker??

All I know is the H22 is a nice built motor stock, let alone building up internals and then turboing it. It almost makes me wanna get a honda.. ALMOST! hahaha

i believe the honda motors are sleeved, and the bottom end is design to handle the high rev from v-tec.

How does she steer with the h22? I've heard about a 50/50 opinion on these things being to big to do auto x with. With a short wheel base like the haches have, you should consider taking to the track sometime. Also, did you have any clearance problems? ground or sides? I've heard you have to watch them oil pans. I love hondas, awsome little cars.
