What kind of spray paint would you guys recommend on using? I have read the How-to article and I'd like to try on a few little pieces at first. Would any spray paint do? Any brand in particular to look for?
Thanks! |

Just make sure it says it works on Vinyl. I had a hell of a time trying to find a color that I wanted that sayed it would work on Vinyl.
Edit- I used like 3 cans of Krylon from Wal-Mart for close to 4 bucks a pop. Nice color of red. This post has been edited by hiflytsi: Apr 2, 2003 - 2:31 AM |

Advance Auto even has a line specifically for interior, I applied straight enamel and let it set for a few days, then applied clear coat came out fine, but wished I would've found the other. You might even look into Alka Plus dash trim they have a huge selection of kits for the dash, for around 150 bones but diffently look sweet!

I just went to the carpaint store and they had paint specially made for vinyl. Its been on the for about a year now and hasn't faded or chipped or anything....BUT it only works with vinyl not with the hard plastic. I've seen an ad in supersport mag that you can get some kind of paint and then a clearcoat for it too. I don't remember what ad it was but its always in there....The vinyl paint works like a charm though!!!! And its cheap! Like 10bucks a can. 2 cans with me did the whole inside of a 87 mustang hatchback!!!!
