they make indiglo needles. you can usually find them on ebay, or something like that..

you could also probably get some transparent red paint and paint the needles only.

Thx Yelloxboy, but in this pics ,you cant see the real effect, now the gauge is veery very bright... anyway for this work i had used just some high intensity led, a resistor of 550 Ohm for led, and 1 flat cable for common Hdd....

Remove needles, paint the back of them with red highlighter (not all needle, but only the place there the light comes to them) and you will have same effect, if you gonna use bright white bulbs, then they will be a bit more brighten..
