they make them for a corolla but it runs a little short. i want to have a header that will straight bolt up so i dont have to run to the exhaust shop or anything. now im thinking about turboing so i dont know. -------------------- |

One quick question for you tuan. Does this header work well with I/E? I hear some headers work well alone but don't gain much with I/E along with it.

I/H/E means Intake/Header/and Exhaust. Just a shorten way of saying it.
I'm having some money problems, so I don't think I can get the headers from you. *Edited* Might I also add that I'm on another forum called Honda-tech.com for over a year now. I just found a thread posted in the general diss. here by slowcelica that some guy bought a turbo from you and it fell apart after 30miles!! WTF is that? I had my doubts about you guys from when I heard that a company making aftermarket products and can't afford to run a dyno? That to me is some weaka.ss company. And another thing, you along with your company claim to make after market products and don't know what the common terms mean? That my friend is pure stupidity and lack of knowledge. I/H/E the most common bolt on abbreviations for N/A cars, but I don't think you know what N/A means. If this sounds a bit rude, i'm sorry I tried to make it sound ALOT rude!!! I am sorry for being ignorant to some of the terms used... but do you really suppose this means that our product sucks? I am in the sales department first of all, I don't know all of the terms used for different cars, and I've delt with mr2 owners with these headers and they seem to like them ( you can read the link I've provided you in this thread). I understand you have your doubts, who doestn't, about our products but I've reassured this thread by providing links of recent good customer feedbacks that you can read on. You read about 1 person dissing our product but haven't read the 30 people that like our product and you've concluded that our product sucks? I am sorry you have to think that way. I am trying to spread aftermarket to products to the celica community and this is what I get? Please don't assume anything if you don't know anything about it... that just IGNORANT!!!!! oh yah... N/A mean naturally aspirated |

Don't take this as being rude, because I'm sure your not the guy out there making the parts. I was reading the thread that has been dissing your products and am having my doubts. I know I have heard good things from other people in this post, but there are plenty of bad opinons also. I appologise, but I'd rather error on the side of caution here, so I'm going to have to back out of this group buy.

First off it wasn't just one person, one person shared the experience dealing with you and/or your company. The other people who have dealed with you also shared their experiences and they weren't good experiences.
Tell me another thing, if you are a company why don't you back up your product by posting a dyno? Wouldn't you think that would help the business of the sale? I asked this question a while back but never got an answer from you. And I also asked would this header get along with an intake and exhaust, no answer there also. Or maybe you don't know. If you or whomever is making the headers do some more researching and tuning on the header, wouldn't you think all the work would be paid off because you would have a great header with proven gains that everyone will love instead of selling something you just made with no proven tests. |

How could a header be effected by an intake?
And if you have a custom exhaust that currently bolts to your stock header, why would this one act any different if it bolts up just the same? I'm not sure if I even understand your question of if it'll "get along" or "work well" with I/E. -------------------- |

Some headers on a celica would gain a lot just by itself, but along with an intake and exhaust it wouldn't have that much effect. Some might gain 8-10 HP alone but using with an intake and exhaust it might only gain 1-2 HP. And I know all of you aren't just going to be installing just a header and nothing else.

Oh, well seeing how this is the only header on the market for the 6th gen 2.2 GT, I didn't think demand would be as dependent on the HP gains.
However, if this is your sole reasoning behind the purchase I can understand how the 6-8 HP difference might sway your opinion. -------------------- |

I don't believe you for one minute. I understand what your saying, but your exagerating. You need to compare either all stock hp with one header compared to the next, or all after market with one header compared to the next. Othe wise you will never acctually prove which is better. And yes, I do believe that a dyno should have been done w/ a control (same car w/ & w/o the new header) car. How ever, that does not make it a bad product or a bad company, Just an inexperienced company. I doubt they will ever utter the words of a new product w/o putting it on the dyno first after this one. But damn man, you gotta go easy on these guys. They are the only people on the f*&%ing North American contenent that are willing to make after market products for our 6th gen. Lets give them one chance, and THEN judge. This post has been edited by navyfc: Feb 23, 2005 - 1:00 AM |

You can buy a header if designed improperly with less horsepower then stock. I'm not trying to diss the company at all, but a dyno run is important. Do you want to fork out money for 1 or 2 horsepower? To me a good header is worth 10-15 hp This post has been edited by madmods: Feb 23, 2005 - 1:14 AM |

If you haven't already notice in my earlier posts, I said I pulled out of this GB. So that update is not up to date.
But you were probably busy dynoing and tuning the headers to pay attention to my post right. |
