Now now children, let's not turn into 6gc-flame-forums.net ok? Here's a sound clip, kinda tiny sound clip but you get a feel of what it's like. The deep growl I get when in the lowe rpms makes me wanna go slower actually....just so I can hear it. It doesn't sound like my friend's Prelude (which just drove by as I was writing that) which has a whiny sound towards the top range. It's nice and deep.

Good choice... I have a dual tip mirror finish exhaust from Magnaflow. It sounds so beautiful, and it gives your car a nice look.

My bad folks ... typo
It's 3 inches not 4 inches. - My profile is correct I guess I'm just another guy saying I'm an inch bigger than I really am - my bad! And no I didn't feel a loss in torque - although I'm not much of an off the line type driver anyway - I drive 500 to 600 miles per week at mostly 80-100 miles an hour - it's all turnpike traffic - and the accelleration from 80-100 is impressive for a 2.2. Once the damn snow melts I'll get some pics up here - freakin April and 3 inches of snow in PA - Mother Nature is off the wagon again! This post has been edited by CJOHNST3: Apr 7, 2003 - 5:07 PM |

You could definitely tell the difference, but mostly from 3500 RPM and up - so on the high end of every gear you can feel the increase
80 to 100 MPH is from 3800 ish to 5000 rpm - it really kicks in - when I want to pass in 4th or 5th - it's not a problem!!!! |
