Pic is in my profile, selling it because i made a cold air intake and will no longer need this. I've had it less than a year. Its been re-oiled, still in great condition. the only problem is i took off the heat shield and lost the brackets holding the shield but im sure they can be found at a hardware store with 12mm bolts. Selling for $100 shipped!!! thats 100 off most websites and even ebay.

when i kept experimenting with the heat shield, i didnt notice anything different with it on or off, but it looks sweet on. im not sure how to explain the difference between short ram and cold air other than the air being sucked up is either gonna be cold or hot. i noticed with cold air that at 70mph im still at 2rpm instead of 3rpm. it also comes with a high quality K&N filter.

well i have i guess u oculd call it a short ram on there right now that i believe cam off a talon or something??? idk the guy i bought the car off of had it on there and its shorter then what ur selling. but with short ram ur still sucking hot air?? just more and with the cai its cold but the only diffrence u have seen is ur rpm's stay lower with the cai?? so with this one at 70 mph ut still at 3k? also is there a power gain at all?

there is a quicker throttle response and its gives it a little mean roar. its almost like a stock replacement because there isnt too much noticable difference, however the injen looks a hella lot sweeter than stock. once you remove all stock air parts the air can flow better to the short ram filter. this is carb legal so no worrys there. there isnt any cutting of any sort as with a cai.

lemme guess...you've got an auto? because the RPM change at the same speed would be impossible in a manual lol

I think what xpressions meant, was that couple of information is incorrect on the posts that you have made.
The engine RPM's are at thousands each, and telling people that your engine runs at 2 RPM's, is kind of incorrect. Also, gears are hardwares. They do not change because of increase in power. Feel free to contradict me.

well when he said 2 and 3 i knew he meant 2000 and 3000 but it made no sence how just a short ram would make it drop 1000 rpms. i think this is a rip off to tell the truth no offense

well honestly guys... i don't think $100 for a injen intake is a rip off since the condition of it seems pretty alrite.. i dunno how it looks like now. but the pic in the profile pretty much tells me it looks good. seriously, if it wasn't cause i'm going turbo, i would've bought it. just my 0.2c though.
