bryan have you got a hood scoop? or do you just use the air-in from the stock airbox? - kinda hard to see.

This is my povo $5 job until I get a custom stainless CAI done (at the same time as my exhaust).

Not many of you guys have the cruise control box (between the battery and the radiator top hose in my pic). I want to relocate it to somewhere else in the engine bay, has anyone else tried doing this? I know that it is bolted on under the battery, but where the hell could you put it - maybe near the old airbox?

See the silver to the right of the box? I have the same stuff but mine is in the fender. I took the stock thingie out of under the fuse box. I'm thinking of putting a slit in the fender there for better air. Wadaya think?

I dunno.. I took my battery, cruise control, coolant res and the fuse box out (did i miss anything lol), and I still couldn't figure out where the hell the stock air intake goes smile.gif

I guess you are supposed to take the plastic underbody off to get in there?

I have been thinking that it would be so much easier just to get a small hood scoop for the air filter than to mess around with CAI's. smile.gif

I dont know how it came out. I messed with it for about a day then my friend came over. He said go inside and dont look out the window, 10 minutes later he came in holding it. I never asked.

Yeah i wanna make a custom CAI but i have the cruise control thing there, did you guys just plain remove out of your car and no longer use it, or did you relocate it? And is that all you have to move?

bad when I took it out the other day, it looks like all you have to do is bolt it somewhere else, and maybe extend the wiring - come out pretty easily.

Anyone actually done this?
