those newer versions of the 3sgte(supposive to be in the scion ccx) will be 4 speed autos,
but those engines would run very hefty prices!! seeing that they are newer, plus would require different motormounts and such since they being in the caldina or whatever in JApan 3sgte with auto.......... why waste the power on an auto? just my thoughts anyways |

i'm going to call one of the site's that was mentioned here i'll keep you guys updated if I can use a 3sge ecu auto on 3sgte motor....

i called toysport and they said it will be cheaper if you do a auto to stick conversion but on my case my wife want's to keep it auto ....so they said buy a 3sgte clip bolt the 5sfe tranny into it and special order a ecu for the turbo motor for $600 they said it will have no problem doing that.....shipping for the ecu will take about 2 weeks thay said.....I will call them tommorow and order the ecu...and for the motor i'm going for jarcoinc!!!!!!!

Daming murang 3S-GTE sa tabi tabi. problema labor, hanap ka ng kaibigan na marunong mag mekaniko at may alam tungkol sa turbo. Para maka tipid ka. 2nd gen ang kunin mo para walang hasel unless marami ka talagang pera eh di mag 3rd gen ka. Karamihan kasama na ECU ang bentahan minsan pati tranny. Kung walang TRanny punta ka lang sa Junk yard dami doon. basta hanapin mo pang 2.2 or 2.O, wag kang bababa ng 2.0 kung hindi magiging useless ang swap mo.

there's a lot of cheap 3sgte everywhere..the problem is the labor, just find a friend that knows how to work on cars that has turbo so you can save money.Get the 2nd generation so no hassel but if you got alot of money just get the 3rd gen. Sometimes when you get the motor it includes the ecu and the tranny but if the ecu and the tranny ain't included just go to the junk yard..try to find a 2.2 or 2.0 if you go lower than that your swap will be useless..... ho[pe this help for those people that doesn't know how to translate filipino language..... |

(QM @ 14.9 on 15'' MickeyTompson Slicks ) I was planing to do the 3sgte swap in my car as well but.... ST and not GT (headache) auto-manual swap (big headache) kind of goes around $6,000 without any problems (small problems $7,000) - PERFORMANCE SHOP $$$ hmmmm too expensive for my budget... decided..... to ..... new 25K 7afe engine --- $600 rebuild auto tranny ---$400 custom T3/intercooled TURBO --- $3,000 TOTAL: $4,000... looking for 200hp @flywheel --- 9-10psi... and AUTOMATIC for everyday driving is the best... |
