weeee I finally got my headers biggrin.gif , and me and my friend installed it today and the car is sounding really good. The installation was easy for the most part but we encounter a few problems.

first problem the headers didn't reach to the cat converter, so that took alot of pulling to make the exhaust reach the headers about 3 inches
.
2nd problem was mounting the 02 sensor wich will be fix tomorrow, once I get my muffler I'm getting my catback custom make at a local shop for $125, it's going to be 2.5 inch. hopefully I will have the money to get my catback done frown.gif

At 2.2L and 130-135 HP, 2.25" is about the maximum you want to run.

And one point -- unless you've managed to wedge a six-cylinder into your engine bay, which is actually possible -- you are running a HEADER, singular.

What brand did you get? And how much?

A little correction never hurt anyone, I think people sound like idiots when they say they are putting headerS on a 4 cylinder engine, it makes it sound like they don't know what they are talking about and doing it just for show, not for gains. If it is all one piece it is *A* header. Multiples like on v6's and above are header*s*.

ooops my bad I'm used to saying headers because my other car is a v6 and for that one is headers. "header or headers same diffrence" you get the point

Because your car is OBD2, the computer can tell from the O2 readings that the pre-cat is gone. I'm nearly 100% sure that's the case.
