You know it's always possible that there could be an issue with the CC and PayPal that the buyer doesn't know about. But that should NOT leave the seller out in the cold.

The buyer should deal with this quickly; check with CC company and PayPal; send a Money Order to the seller if necessary.

If there is a complaint about the product, why go about it this way?

IF this IS a way to try and keep the product without paying for it, well, that needs to be dealt with also......

Well, it seems the buyer's promises to make good were empty.

OP just posted on eBay that the promised re-payment has not yet been received.

Oh well.....

Gosh this really sucks Kalokb!! What's happened is really shady! I didn't see this topic until after I bought those JDM Tails from you. I hope it all works out at the end somehow. It's a shame to see such a great seller get taken advantage of like that. frown.gif

mad.gif Again, I miss AudioOput response since 20May. If anyone wants to add him into your buyer blocked list, welcome send me a message. I have his fill name, address and even phone no.

Orginial message from audioOput on 20 May:

Dear Darryll Sicat,

Congratulations, by successfully answering our automated phone call,
you have confirmed that you are located at the address you have on file.
This further increases the security of our network.

Thank you for helping us test our Confirm Location by Phone process.
Your account information has been updated to reflect your successful
completion of this process.

Sincerely,
PayPal

Orginial message from audioOput on 16 May:

dear kalokB,

i want to first express my sincern apoligize to you.. i didnt know what was going on with the credit card.. first let me explian why it took so long to respond.. and i ask.. that you may try to understand and forgive
me..

my name is darryll sicat.. (as you already know).. i am a memeber of the US ARMY.. and am stationed in southern california..
i am a MP (military police) .. my job code is 31B currently my job requires my to stay on base and in the field (no internet or cell phone service) to train
infantry men and other MOSs (jobs in army), to get ready to go to iraq.. i work 12-18 hour days almost everyday of the week, and the days i do get off.. i am
not aloud to leave. these past few days/weeks i havnt been able to contact anyone..

if you want proof of any of my military records or my job or my current activity..(notng to classified tho) please let me know, and how you want it. and ill show
you anything you want, thats in my power, to know.

i understand your anger and how pissed off you are.. (i would be just as mad or even madder if this happened to me) .. and i ask that you please try to
understand i had no knowlege of this. untill very recently

now that i was able to get leave for 4 days.. i check my email.. and all this is happening.. i also understand that you called my house.. im sorry
i was not home..

now let my explain the transaction -
the card i used was my moms credit card.. these lights were suppose to be a birthday present (april 28).. and my father said he didnt see any problems. so my father
gave my the OK to use it, when the monthly statement came.. my mother found out, (my dad apparnently did not inform my mom) she fliped and.. and called the
credit card company and told them that she did not authorize the transaction...

now i ask you this-
if you have called the authorities, i ask you call them back and let them know that this is being
setteled..
or at least put it on hold.. (i only ask this because i am a police man for the military, if ANYTHING goes on my record, i will be
demoted, loss of pay dramatically, extra duty for 45 days, among other things, and possibly kicked out of
being a MP and/or the military), so basically my carrerer and education (military pays 100% tuition as
long as im in and finish my term) is on the line.

now about how to pay you..
i do not want to pay you in a way that you disagree with..
im goiing to register my card with paypal.. but it takes a couple days for the change to deposit so i can complete the registration.

i can also write my father a check and hell pay with his card.. knowingly and freely this time.

any way u want me to pay.. ill ablige..

and if worse comes to worst, and you want the taillights back.. i will not hessitate to remove them, package them and pay for the fastest shiping. 0 damage
has been done to them.

i feel terrible and guilty for all thats happened. agian i ask for your forgiveness and understanding..

please email me back as soon as you can.. i dont know how long ill be gone agian when i go to
back to the field..

thank you for your time kalokb.. and i am, very sorry for everything

By reading at his poorly written response, I think he's only trying to buy time (30 days) with eBay before they remove the auction from their site, and feedback can no longer be left (after 90 days), they will provide no support, etc. I don't understand why he would bid on those taillights if he knew he was going to have a lot of work to do. It just doesn't make sense. What he did was one of a few eBay 'buyer scams'. Why would his dad not say anything to his mom about buying something that expensive on her credit card, not to mention how did the 'monthly statement' come so quickly? Registering a credit card/debit card with paypal is instant. You can add a card within 2 or 3 minutes. Adding a checking account to Paypal takes longer, they deposit 2 small amounts of money in your account and then you have to verify with them what the deposits were. It all sounds a little strange to me....

Give him another call and tell him you're going to have law inforcement involved if he doesn't pay you within 24 hours. Then call the police in his area and ask them to investigate a little.

AudioOuput stole another Pioneer audio cost for $1000 from another seller jmmax46 in ebay again. he used the same kind of method. I wonder why paypal and ebay stop his account.

This is his info. EVERYONE SHOULD BECAREFUL
