Ok, so on the intake i made/installed, theres a pice coming out of the pipe for a vacume line or something, and i have no clue of where to put it to/what its for or if i should just seal it. I know that on some cars you have to use vacume lines such as on an RSX, but i dunno about this one. Ill go take a picture of the intake and tell me where u think i should run it to/if i should.

Isn't that for the o2 sensor?!

Just seal it. Now it is sucking in false air. it serves no purpose.
It's prolly ''one size fits all" CAI, so its there for cars who do need it.

done and done..im either gonna weld it or just pop a self tapping screw in it

yea...i can weld aluminum..i welded a full aluminum robot frame for my schools robotics team

Or put a rubber cap on it to seal it or something. It's for PCV, I believe.

Did you take anything off your stock intake?

I'm guessing you have access to a TIG welder?

tig and mig...but mostly mig...its harder 2 weld with but i can get access to it easily. but only thing i took off my stock intake box was a few clips, and the grommit for the sensor..it doenst fit in right right now just because the hole has to be bigger. im probably gonna pop one of the shift knob inserts in off my new knob and just apoxie it in with some 5 min apoxie.

Its for your Crankcase Vent, coming out the side of your valve cover.

The Injen intakes come with the port on the intake and also include a vac line, so I imagine itd be better to have it.

the yellow is the hose that u need, find that and use the blue directions. and you dont have a cai, you have a very short ram intake setup there...a cai is far from engine.

If you run it where the blue is, then what do you do with the other end of the yellow, which is the opposie end of the valve cover? Plug it or get one of those little filters?

the end of the hose looks to be jungled in, hook it up to the both blue ends.

check out where i put my hose., same idea but yours is farther away.

do we have to do this with an ST? what do you do with the top part of the yellow that is disconnected?

its loose in the bay somewhere, find it and plug it in

im sorry i meant where the "yellow" hose used to go in, by the throttle body. the hose is disconnected from there and hooked up to the inteake, right? what do you do with the spot that the hose was disconnected from?

take the hose and follow the blue path. the yellow was just showing you where the hose was before. use the blue diagram!!!!!!

ok so will i be fine if i just blocked off the 1 nipple on my intake? it was on my brother's car, but then he sold it. i cut the intake to fit, but wasnt sure what to do with the nipple besides just block it off.
