I just installed an alpine 801 video/cd player and dvd 5205 player. I bypassed the parking/brake wires by using a little black box called PAC from ebay. It sounds great with the motor off, but when the motor is on I hear a whining sound that gets higher in pitch as I rev it more, coming out of the speakers. Any recommendations? Thanks ahead of time for your answers.

That sound is an indication of a ground problem. Try grounding the HU and DVD to a bare metal surface. If you have an amp, make sure that the RCA and power wire are as far away from each other as possible.
Also if you are using cheap RCA wires, try replacing them with better quality wires. I would recomend any big shielded RCA. -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

Also you could try a ground loop isolator go to a stereo shop and they should be able to get you one. I had to use one on my old system when i was 16 and it worked wonders.
