I know I haven't really posted much here, but I'm moving on to a bigger vehicle with 4WD and some more room to haul stuff around. Here's some pics. I wanted to stick with Toyota and get a 4Runner, but they were just too expensive.

What are you talking about? It's a dang SUV. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. But you have to admit that soccer moms and SUV kinda go together. And look at his name "mjmsoccer," that's already close to soccer mom. Don't call me stupid just because you can't take an obvious joke.

I think the stereotype is minivan... Most of them aren't 4WD or 6speed.

Sport/Utility vehicle. As in, for sport (offroading) or utility - usefulness. Like, taking stuff to college, hauling people, etc.

Plus, it's probably faster than your car.

What's your deal man? Honestly. I'm not attacking anyone here. It's just a freaking joke. And everything is faster than my Celica, that's a big surprise there. I've got another car though, and I doubt it's faster than it.

A minivan can't take stuff to college or haul people? I see a lot more mommies driving SUV's than minivans nowadays anyway. SUV's have been the best sellers in this country for about 10 years now. If you really want something for sport utility get a PICKUP TRUCK.

I'd have to take a truck over an SUV. Nothing wrong with SUV's tho, but there are so many cool trucks out now. Dodge rumbleBees, srt10, chevy SS, ford lighting, ect

yeah the only bad thing about those trucks is they get 10-15 mpg and they cost 10,000 more dollars. Its not like I'm driving a CRV. The Xterra does 0-60 in 7.7 seconds, and 16.2 quarter mile. Not bad for an SUV with 9.5 inches of ground clearance that weighs 4500 pounds.

Those trucks may as well be cars anyway. They're more street rods than anything. For practical purposes I'd get a four-door ram like my brother's got. IF I could afford it or if I needed it.
