Well, the GT4 hood and Bumper and some other miscellaneous pieces arrived today.

The parts guy I go through at Toyota Des Moines is named Jason and he told me that he would have the parts to me this weekend. When he got the hood, it was crushed so he had to order another one. It came on Friday and would not be here until Tuesday or Wednesday through shipping so the guy PERSONALLY drove the parts to me on Sunday of Fourth of July weekend. Now thats service! BTW, he ROUTINELY gives 20% discount for all Toyota and TRD parts AND free shipping!

P.S. The GT4 hood is as light as a feather!

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

The guy's name is Jason and he used to post on celica.net. He is very knowledgable about the import scene and he is very responsive. I bought alot of stuff from him and he comes through EVERY time. The toll free number is 800-342-7045 (ask for Jason only). If you are looking for a Toyota or TRD part, just tell him you have a 6th generation celica and you heard from me that he has good prices.

Not including turn signals, fog lights, and hood spoiler, I paid less than $1100. I bought some stuff from Toyota World though. I am getting aftermarket fogs, doggy turns, and need to find the hood spoiler.

Thanks for the clarification Romas - I wasn't sure what exactly the hood was made of. Having said that, aluminum IS a metal.... wink.gif

I got mine from Toyota. I'm sure you can get it from your source. Does your hood have the holes for the spoiler?

worthless without pics! hahaha

wait till you put the hood on, and start seeing all the hot air coming up through the vent at stop lights. it really helps keep the engine bay cool. the front bumper is also perfect for a fmic setup cause the top vent can still cool the radiator while the bottom one cools your IC.

TRD Quickshifter
List: $203.80
You cost: $163.04(provided your not in IA)

Jay...Thanks for all the positive words. It means a lot to get good publicity from members of any community.

Anyone else.....Give me a call and I'll hook you up.
P.S. I'm going to try to avoid pricing parts on the Forums....it gets to be too hard to keep up with everyones requests.

Thanks again.

I try not to charge shipping unless it's needed overnight.
