I bought these kyb gr2 off ebay along with the tein s springs. For some reason they dont fit. My uncle told me the springs are too small for the shocks. so instead i just dropped my car with the springs with the tein s and the stock shocks. any idea why they dont fit?

They KYB GR2s are ajustable. So I don't see how they can't fit. Tein Springs are bull ****. Anything proformance wise on ebay is prolly bull ****. Execpt for the Ram Airs. Check your Model of the KYB's also you might have gotten taken for on a look alike model that is prolly a rip off.

That is so wrong in so many ways.

1. KYB GR-2s are NOT adjustable.

2. Tein springs are excellent, like all other Tein products.

3. I don't know about proformance, but performance-wise, there are TONS of great parts on eBay.

Now to the original question, the KYB GR-2 struts/shocks are OEM replacements. So they should look like your OEM components(except they're silver instead of black...but the basic shape and dimensions are the same.) You should've gotten shocks for the fronts and the entire struts for the rear. If the springs do not fit, maybe you got the wrong shocks because the seller made a mistake.

Check the part numbers:
KYB GR-2 for the sixth gen have two variations -- sealed struts and rebuildable. All 94-99 North American Celicas use 334125 on the right and 334126 on the left for rear struts. For those with rebuildable front struts, the cartridge is 365092. For sealed fronts, the number is 334378.
