that would be slick in the dash, but what would you use it for? i almost bought the mini, but i fell for the sexiness of the imac g5. definitely stick with apple though smile.gif.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

i have done this mini install into a 02' toyota tacoma, it takes up almost the exact room at a cd player and doesnt look half bad in there. the built in airport doesnt work too well inside the dash with the case made of metal and all the metal in the car. its not hard the hard part is stashing the power supply somewhere back in the dash. anyways good luck with that! i wish they made an ecu tuning program for the mac i would much rather use that than buying a win xp laptop biggrin.gif

as for the mac mini - have fun - remember to get some usb extender cables unless you are going to open it up and re-wire the ports to a custom panel

i've been working on building a mini pc (windows based) for my car - right now i'm still pricing parts and such - cd/dvd drive would be great in dash along with a smaller touch screen lcd (5-7 inch) - but i want to mold some usb ports in my center console - working on some custom launcher programs too - gonna strip down windows xp til it's running only essentials and then have my program run on startup at full screen - not buying any parts until i have the program done

one question - how are you handling powering the computer on and off - i would like to get mine to turn on and off with the car - only thing i can think of is a small UPS with pc turn off capabilities
