i dont know what to do. i have changed one of my o2 sensors(5sfe) and there has been no change. my mechanic says to get a tune up but i dont think that will really help my car that much. its running super rich and i think if they change the some stuff it might run richer. anyways i need some help because i am just about to go to the dealer and see whats wrong with it..
do you guys think a tune up will fix this problem This post has been edited by gtcelica94: Aug 11, 2005 - 11:40 PM |

disconnect the battery for a few min, change plugs, cap, rotor, wires if they are more then 2yrs old. after you disconnect the battery and hook it back up, drive around for about 2 days... sometimes it can take that long for the ecu to relearn what the new o2 sensor is reporting and put the car in closed loop mode. at least thats how long mine takes to relearn based from my a/f gauge (the only thing its good for! lol)
