Yeah this is a 4th gen...anyways

Good concept, but you need to work on your power situation. First off, that many subs you need to add in a really nice battery, and most likely a high output alternator. Next, most people think Capacitors are band-aids, yet in this case, considering the age of the car, I would get one for each JBL amp you have. Now even further an issue is that with only two of those amps. Those amps will put out 150W RMS at 4Ohms, 300 at 2 ohms. To make the amp see 2 Ohms you will have to run 2x 4 Ohm drivers (subs) parallel. This still makes it so each sub only sees 150W RMS which is way under what they need. IMHO, you need to read up and not just grab model numbers and slap them together. I'll help ya if you actually wanna go through with it because I think the idea is great, just maybe a better plan for a system is due to make it work really nicely. In any case, whether you want my help or not, good luck with it man! It's going to sound great when you get it hooked up and powered correctly!

Sorry for the confusion. I just noticed you're located in NZ. In the US 5th gen is 90-93.

Also... Same shape as KITT?

KITT is a Firebird/Trans-Am, but awesome show none the less.
