ok i know they help the car handle better but do they help with the launch of the car? someone told me this today and i didnt believe them.

Uh no, unless you're launching the car sideways =].
Sway bars just reduce body roll, or lean, when cornering. Stiffer springs and struts might help launch by reducing weight transfer on a hard launch, and motor mounts can help in that regard too by reducing the twisting motion of the engine when the torque hits, but not sway bars. |

Besides the fact that it won't help, which you know and I'm not drilling you on, it's a Celica. I don't think launching is ever a problem with these things. You have to have power first, then you have launch problems.

oh i understand u completly i wasnt saying he was right i was checking to prove that he was wrong. this kids a honda fanatic with a 88 crx with a b-16 engine in it. thinks he knows everything about cars. think i would win if we raced
