I think you'll get further by filing a hearing for the city council, in NC if you hold a hearing toward an officer you could have their badge or they could be punished by the city instead of the PD (of course you'll need to bring all the proof you have).

This is the first time I've been cocky with them. I'm sick of being harassed and I finally spoke out to the cop about it.

well speaking out isnt going to help your cause at all... especially with such a noticable car

I would have done the same thing coomer... you've been harassed way to many times for such stupid things it's about time you spoke up. I think the best thing to do is what supersprynt said... send a letter to your congressman because it seems like the whole police dept. knows about your car so you have to go to someone neutral. good luck

COOMER move to LA, Natalie & I were just down there & those people do like...80 - 90 in a 50 zone its craaazy we flew by a bunch of cops & no one seemed to care (probably cause everyone goes that fast..!) The cops there seem really....laid back (ut i was only there a couple of days)

Natalie & I could probably roll into Yakima race up & down ur streets all night...go camping in the Albertsons parking lot....litter....drink booze....& get away with it! Im surprised they dont show up @ your own HOME to tell you that your trespassing lol...

Canada is a great place, why not come up here?

Calgary is going gangbusters right now with the oilsands expansions and $60+ a barrel oil. Jobs are easy to come by.

Toronto is cool too, just a little further and not as booming, more mature though.

Ahhh...he's not that bad...he's just like slowcelica....likes to try to get a rise out of people. In limited doses, it actually makes the cite more entertaining.

As a general rule, I think its wise to listen to your local police department and I think a letter to your local congressman is a shot in the dark at best. However, in Coomer's case, I would say "document, document, document." All facts, dates, names, witnesses, badge numbers, etc should be carefully recorded. Bring a small recording device (like a dictaphone with you) and visibly turn it on when the officer approaches you. At some point, a federal lawsuit under Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act for harassment seems appropriate given the described conduct. I, for one, would not take that crap indefinitely.

I wonder what happen if you put cameras all over your car. And make it blaten that you are recording everything that goes on. I wonder if the cops will still act the way they do. Set up a camera in every window of your car.
Send the videos to micheal moore and ask for help.. haha
