I need to find the best lowering springs... with more drop than the tein s-tech - anywhere from 150 - 300 dollars.... thanks for any input. Please suggest anything but Tom's X-dynamic... because i've had some and they don't fit right

well I have Ground Control Coilovers, and there pretty darn good, I dont really know much about lowering springs because I never really liked em and you only getting about an inch to two drop.
but anyway the tein s-tech is probibly one of the best. This post has been edited by creis: Oct 21, 2005 - 9:39 PM -------------------- |

The lowest drop I've seen so far is the Eibach Sportlines, they're supposed to be 2" all around. 40% stiffer than stock, but you'll still potentially blow your struts, or KYB struts, when you're that low.
I called KYB and they told me that more than 1" is going to blow the struts after a while, they won't warranty if you drop it more than 1". 2" is extreme, so if you go that low you should look into some Bilstein or Koni struts. |

Sounds like your buying lowering springs over & over
(Please suggest anything but Tom's X-dynamic) Hmmm how many spring have you purchased so far If you continue you might just save all that money & be able to just buy Tein or any Coilovers ? |

The thing is.. i have two celica's . My 94 originaly had Dropzone coilovers (they are crap). So my dad wants to replace them with good springs... i've ordered Tom's X-dynamic's for my car and when they came in - we noticed that they won't fit exactly right because of their shape ( and i didn't want to take the chance - so we sent those back ) , and then I ordered Tein's for my 97. Im pretty satisfied w/ my Tein S-tech's , but i wanted to see a little more drop on the 94 - so i was looking for a spring w/ lower drop (2.2-2.5 in front , 1.5 in back). We just ordered some Tanabe DF210's for the 94 celica, and i think i'm gonna be happy w/ those. I might even like them soo much - I sell my Tein's and get another set of Tanabe's ... lol
