Seems as if you guys like St205's clips to be clean, complete, and to have everything.

just saw this one too -- seller has little feedback -- if anyone buys this hopefully they get some sort of buyer protection --

other than that - this is an awesome buy

Shipping is included in the price, but I think it's still a bit too much. I'd pay 4k for it though.

Brakes alone are about a 800-1k dollar setup. Brakes are always sold seperately hence the 4 to 4500 dollar range. Keep in mind the price is shipped as well.

Ron, is this your auction? For those considering buying, Ron has a great reputation and I would not hesitate to buy from him at all.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

he turned down a 4500 dollar offer...should i give him the extra 500 for this clip?

i really dont need the fenders and bumper or the brakes but i could make money selling them. also, arent the 3rd gen motors a lot harder to get parts for?

definitely harder if its unique to the 3rd gen but there are quite a few places that you could try before ordering something from overseas. Many mr2 specialty places like chicoraceworks.com and mr2warehouse.com may have parts available to ship immediately if something brakes. Also, many gen II and generic parts will work on the gen III. For example, you wouldn't have to worry about oil filters, spark plugs, air filters, etc.

IMO, for that price, i'd rather get a 96-99 with a slightly better looking front end and most importantly PROJECTORS !!

Edit:
Jdog, you should wait t'ill the last minute of the auction, u might be able to score a insane deal if few or nobody bids on it.

Make no mistake, the TRUE value will never be projectors or body paneling. The cleaner and lower mileage of the engine, the better for the person who ends up with it as a projector and bumper can be replaced no problem. Secondly, the brakes are of the HIGHEST value in Japan and Europe. I am Certain no one has sold there front clip with brakes. They are the first thing missing even before the engine.

So with body paneling, brakes, A2W intercooler with undamaged heat exchanger (hard to find), All lights, Rear differential and rear shaft, with Prestine condition engine with Perfect compression across the board and free shipping. It would be much easier to sell everything seperate for more profit which is what EVERY importer does. Thought it would be interesting to offer everything. I think I will not bring them in as complete as It does cost a pretty coin to bring them in like this and makes for more work. I am shocked that there is way more interest from Europe to purchase everything while here in the states everyone wants to me to seperate parts. Really would like to see someone get everything as a whole, but I think for the future I will bring them in less complete to save on costs.

jdog...id be willing to buy that front bumper off of you (even for 500 if thats what it takes for you to get it, im willing to help out a fellow celi member)... although i dont have the cash till december frown.gif. another problem is that Mr2 is in cali and im in oregon but your in NY. id buy it from you if Mr2 would leave the bumper in cali and ship the rest to you and maybe store the bumper for me and then id pay him to ship it to me later. i know its a f-up kinda plan but im really starting to dig the bumper..its exactly what i want for my convertible..sleek, slick, and not too flashy :-d
