i have the knob for the bottom seat lowered all the way (i'm 5'9") and the seat inclined back a bit (not the lean-back-gangsta-style way) to keep my hair from touching the head liner. then i have two fingers at the 9:00 position (on one of the 3 spokes of the wheel) and the other is palmed on the stick. it's cold and snowing here now so my gloves do all the gripping.

I slide my seat the whole way back, then I move it up 1 notch so I can push in the clutch the whole way. I have the seat 2 notches back from the full upright position or else my back will hurt.

Around town - 10 and 2, Left foot on the dead pedal.
Residential streets - Left hand 12, right hand shifter, left foot resting ABOVE clutch (No, I don't rest it on the pedal, I'm not stupid) anticipating the shifts.
5th gear - Both arms resting on lap, hands and 4 and 6, left foot dead pedal if theres not much traffic, 10 and 2 if I need to pass and such.

im 6' 4" so there really isnt alot of room. the seat is all the way back and is tilted back quite aways. hand rests on my left knee to drive with, and the other is resting on the shifter or messing with the touch screen.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

guess i look like an idiot! but i cant sit straight up it hurts my back and is very uncomfortable so my seat is back rather far. gangsta leaning with one hand on the wheel and the other holding my phone and shift knob. tilt is all the way down closest to my knees.

im a very aggressive driver as well but my driving skills are always complimented on by guy drivers :-)

that makes two idiots

i got the same problem, my back hurts like a bitch when i sit too straight. i just love to sink myself into my seat and lean slightly on my right.

I sit straight up, left hand at 11 with a glove ( P/S gone is a bitc) . Right arm on arm rest (gosh I love toyota arm rests) and right hand always on shift knob. Then When I turn left hand turns, downshift to right gear with right hand and then right hand assists the left cause the steering wheel is so tough to turn.

I have my hat down below my eyes, my seat is all the way back so that my heads barely above the steering wheel. One hand on the wheel and the other on the stereo with my left leg out the window.

My seat is fairly upright, the lower part is as low as it goes, and my arms are at 3 and 9 on the wheel usually. People usually poke fun at me because I shift and then immediately my hand moves right back to the wheel. tongue.gif
Don't worry Coomer, that's how the guys from Fast and the Furious drive too! Lol. Sry, couldn't resist.

usually hands at the 10/2 (sometimes I move my left hand to about the 7 o clock position - resting on my left leg, it grips the bottom of the wheel)

seat is fairly upright, not too close to the wheel.

My turn...seating position is pretty straight up, but a little lean to the right. Usually only left hand is on wheel at about the 1 o'clock position (unless turning). Right arm is usually resting on arm rest unless I am shifting.

seat pulled back as far as it goes, leaned a back a bit, 1 hand on the side of the wheel, hand on the shifter and elbow on the console. Thats how i drive right now cuz its winter. Summer, i drive with the seat on the back of the rails, and pretty much straight up with the sunroof open so i got head room.

Well I'm in a good old right-hand drive...i have my seat back so that when i push the clutch in all the way my knee is still bent a bit, back of my seat is tilted back so that its about inline with the pillar (I'm looking at my car out the window as I write this tongue.gif) My right hand is at 3 usually on the spoke on the inside of the wheel and left hand either on my knee with my elbow on the centre console or on the shifter (or sometimes my phone rolleyes.gif ). And I also drive with my knees sometimes tongue.gif ...but only if I'm on long straight roads and there's minimal or no traffic.
