I work very part time at A&P since I'm a full time college student.
As far as what I do, I work in the bakery and its a really good gob actually. Very relaxed environment, you arent really waiting on people like in most food businesses. I make all kinds of baked stuff like cakes, pies, cannolis, and set up things to be made for the next day when I'm in the department. Otherwise, I'm elsewhere in the store giving the Managers help doing whatever they need....I'm in a pretty good position and allows me to do alot of different things. I drive to pick up things from time to time which is great, and I get to take lots of breaks and talk cars with people who work with me. My boss is great, he's from Brooklyn so hes got a thick NY accent and he's awesome....tells lots of stories and likes to pull alot of pranks with me. Pay is also pretty good, they give you sunday and holiday pay and I usually put in overtime when I work, so that fattens up the paycheck nicely. I'm a Union member also, so I get quarterly raises and all sorts of benefits. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

I gotta come in tomorrow and type 30 pages and format the report for our company standards! its quite hard since we work with damn macros Yeah I dont think anybody did. Its an old SNL skit from back in the day featuring Rob Schneider. She may have been too young at the time when that skit was on. I think Natalie is only 20, and that skit was on like 15 years ago. I am a Financial Analyst for Northrop Grumman Newport News, which is the sole builder for the nation's nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers for the Navy. I basically help manage budget performance on multi-million or billion dollar contracts and the Human Resources division's overhead budget, which is in the millions of $ too. |

i sit at my desk and pretend to be working.
I'm a Legal Assistant, as of right now I work part time. 12-5 I bascially do a lot of secretary stuff because there is no one else to do it. So answering phones, making copies, typing up letters and all that, on occasion i'll make coffee if we have a closing or something. When it comes to legal work I basically prepare all the documents that go to court. When Feb. comes I will graduate and i'll be a certified Paralegal, basically at that point i do everything but go to court, which IMO is the fun part. and yeah i do most, if not all, of my work on the computer so i'm online all day This post has been edited by ILuvMyCelica95: Nov 19, 2005 - 12:15 PM -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0

I'm the senior graphic designer for a print shop... which means I'm the only one (but I get the title anyways). Basically I take all the crap that spews out of everyone's junky computers that they think will look good on paper, and I make it into masterpieces. I also take the retarded ideas everyone has that they think would look good on paper but are too stupid to do themselves on their crappy computers, and I make it into a masterpiece.
As a twisted bit of fate, this is my dream job. Just not the dream company. I would like to be the designer at the National Enquirer and get to make all those fun stories look real....errrr...slightly less fake? But I think I'll just start my own company and be satisfied. -------------------- |
