Ok last winter I took a left out of my sub division from a stop and instead of turning skidded across the street and got stuck. Tonight after it had rained I went to stop at a red light on a slight decline and completely lost traction. I managed to stop about 5 feet after the line and had almost turned sideways. So I want to know what would be a good pair of all weather tires (especialy for rain and snow) for my celi. I am on the stock 14 inch steelies right now so nothing fancy.
I can't check what I am on right now but I do remember i have two different tires. One pair is supposed to be good and the other is some no name brand pos pair. Both have quite a bit of tread left but I have the bare minimum inssurance and don't need to be sliding around into crap this winter. |

I had this problem alot with my ST, she slid and plowed like crazy. 185/70/14's, steelies, I stole from my GT parts car last night its rims, and let me tell you the 205/55/15 make a huge difference, I would reccomend gettin a set of stock GT/GTS rims and some wider tires.

I just got new 14 inch tires on the steel rims. Went with Yokohama AVID T4's. 195/65/14 The ride is not as soft as with the stock size. Handles better than before.
