i have a few questions how many people have gotten tickets under the age of 18 and in court are you allowed to fight the ticket or do you have to be over 18 to be allowed to fight tickets. because i have herd that if there is a little error the ticket can be thrown out. and on mine he wrote the wrong number of lanes on it. and because i am under 18 is there a way for me to still push the court date back.

just take it to a ticket clinic, $60 and ur home free with no court or anything.

dude fight the ticket u learn that in drivers ed. always fight the ticket. u may not have to pay the ticket or get points just pbj. (probation before judgement) ive gotten one speedin ticket but i left that go cuz i was on the turnpike and lived nowhere near where i would have to go to court. but the one i did fight was for crossing the double yellow line when i was pulling out of a parking lot. very stupid i know. but it was a point and a 75 dollar fine so i fought it and got pbj. but dont mess up if u get pbj cuz then u get ur new ticket plus what ur old one would have cost you in the first place.

I guess i got off kinda easy...i got a ticket like 3 months after getting my liscense (window tint) lol but the officer said i didnt have to go to court unless i wanted to contest it....i was like w/e and paid the ticket. A year and a half later i still have the tine and never got in trouble for it...

I have had well over 5 tickets..three of which have been speeding, and one of which was 85mph in a 40mph..that one sucked but the best thing is i got a lawyer and none of the tickets went on my record. Although i almost did go to jail for the 85mph speed zone ticket because i was racing too..

I got one.. 86- in a 55.. i was 17.. Went to court, got a $300 fine, 1 point.. and had to take a driver course, cause my insurance.. and I got my pro-extended anothe ryear

My first was 45 in a 35 that was reduced to 40 in a 35 and it cost $72
my second was 45 in a 10 and it cost $490 reduced to $275 and got it pbj'ed
My last one was 68 in a 50 and it was a construction zone but I got a lawyer and it went to expired tabs and cost me a total of $400 but it was way worth it cuz my insurance would kill me!

ive had my celi for a lil over a yr & nvr gotten a ticket *KNOCK ON WOOD!!* not to say that i havent deserved alot of tickets tho i passed a state trooper sittin on the side of the rd doin 105 in a 65 & didnt get pulled over

what you heard about things being wrong on the ticket and getting it thrown out is bull**** theyll just fix it in court.

they could have put your name as jesse kastopolis and they just would have fixed it in court.

on fighting it, it depends on how fast it was. 12 over or greater get a lawyer.

less go to court with both of your parents, dress nice and look sorry, ask the ADA to drop it.

if you dont even have to go to court for it, just pay it, it wont be points.

I was 16 and got pulled for a 61 in a 45. Payed it off bt took a Online Drivers class and got the points off. Then got another one when I was 17 which was 78 in a 45. Only charged me 200 dollars but was supposed to be 320$. Had the chance to take the class (can only take it once a year), but didnt feel like it.

over 80 in a 45 and over 70 in a 45....sounds to me like u people should invest in a good radar detector like i did. i constantly go at least 15-20 over the speed limit and havent got pulled over yet ** knock on wood** but allmost did once because the cop saw i was obviously speeding something around 85 in a 40 then turned his radar on and followed me but didnt have time to catch up as i went down sides streets and pulled into some ones drive way

120 in a 60 (I-95) $309 ticket cuz i payed it late too. I tryed to take it to my lawyer and he just said 'good luck' lol

when i first turned 17 i got a ticket for doing 120 in a 55mph zone(HWY90). I got off because i was talking to an airforce recruiter guy about joining and he got me out of it because he thought i was goona join but i never did, but also that big ticket is not on my record i just had refered judication.
