why exactly are you taking the whole car apart?

it just means there is more misplaced bolts, and more work to do.

if you read the begining of the post you can get an idea...that i'm replacing broken frame from an accident
and fixing some things

basically i'm building a celica frame up with all sorts of fun stuff
i have a list of all the suspension upgrades in the suspension forum for just an idea
a motor swap will occur and a hand full of other things

hey man, saw that you tried out the supra headlights and was wondering if you had to trim the hood to make it fit correctly...........im not trying to jump on your idea and i realize a good deal of people frown on it but just wondering cause ive got a great bodyshop buddy and i that are looking for a future project for my car

lol alot of the pictuers are gone matt

for the supra headlights......take that idea throw it in the trash, don't waste the time or money on it...but if you must insist you have to cut the hood and fabricate a new front 1/2 o f the hood basically you should be able to take your car and a set of headlights and say..."make this work" if you have to tell them anything...they arn't good enough

You just should of payed me me to finish your project. See what i did with soundsluts and sabrinas car. Leave the job to the pros

BTW, what kinda stripper you use on the body? looks like it was working pretty well...

arent you worried that if you strip all the paint now, they car may start to rust while its sitting in the garage for a while and being worked on ?

^ i doubt it'll rust anytime soon. it looks like airplane paint remover. that sh!t's strong. lol. i remember using it on my nitrous bottle. burned the crap out of my hands. how many cans did u use? lol

my guy can definatley make it work but the thing is some a-hole smashed my hood in on new years so im probly gonna go carbon fiber and you cant really trim that cam you?

manny i'm using brushable and/or spray able paint stripper that you find at home depot from kleen strip i believe

no it won't rust because i'm spraying primer on the sections that i have stripped and sanded

no you can't trim CF and you have to remember the hoos has bumps in it for the headlight curve so you have to take them out if your seriously interested in the supra headlight swap let me know i'll sell you mine.. obviously i don't need them any more


oh and jen i make money by working ALL the time at my kick ass desk job for my university
