Hey Everyone! I'm really considering trying to get the projectors for my celi...but I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to get them. confused.gif I called up a local Toyota dealership and they quoted me $330 per side. Is that too much? Or should I look somewhere else? Thanks for any and all input. biggrin.gif

Regards,

Natalie

They are about $850 shipped for all 4 lights from toyotaworld or the dealership jgreening got some JDM stuff from. $660 for just the heads are a bit steep.

The question is, are they worth it to you? Many people aren't willing to fork out the cash because of this reason, but then again, many are switching over.

$330 per side is too much.
Toyotaworld & fensport.
I paid just under $Aus1400 for mine.

I think they are worth it, cause they just look
so much sexier. Plus its rare over here.
I love the looks I get from other 6gc owners smile.gif

Batman,
It was Toyota Des Moines at http://www.toyotadm.com. jgreening said to talk to Jason in the parts department.

ToyotaWorld is also highly recommended by many.

Last I checked Low beams were $237 each at http://www.parts.com toyotaworld and toyotadm should have similar if not lower prices.

No matter what. Stay away from toysport.

I want to get the low beams only, since my high beams are never used and I have the smoked covers for them. smile.gif

Are they worth it? In a word, yes!

Also, I paid NZ$500 for a brand new boxed set for mine. Worth every cent smile.gif

If you are asking whether the lighting aspects justify an $800 expense for the 4 light set, the answer is "no". If you are asking about if the looks justify the price, I have a question for you - If you had a couch that was perfectly fine structurally but wasn't your favorite color, would you spend $1500 for a new one? As you might guess, different people will answer that question differently. The same is true for the JDM lights.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

IMO there are much better things you could do for the Celi with $800, like engine work, suspension work, stereo...
