okay okay. I just recently change out my clutch, throwout bearing, and my pressure plate. Resurface my flywheel. But im hearing it rotate when im not pressing in the clutch. You can just hear it kinda rattle and rotate. But when you press the clutch in, you can hear it stop the rotation and its quiet. Do you guys know anyway to fix that problem???

mine does the same thing. i think its probably from the fork or the tob not getting relubricated correctly after a clutch change. sometimes performance clutches are known to be noise too... so that might be part of it.

I have the same noise ever since i replaced the clutch.

Could possibly be air in the clutch lines too... maybe bleed them out better.

I bleed the line today. I even replace the rubber line with standless steel and the pushrod to b 1/4" longer. Maybe I didnt lubricate it right... Well i greese the throwout bearing and thats it, didnt know u have to lubricate the fork... I guess ill try to ignore it.

dont you have to lubricate the whole input shaft too? ive seen people recomend this, but never seen in already lubricated from the factory.

Lubrication is your friend. You definatly need to lubricate the shaft, only slightly though. Metal on metal contact is never good.
Lube the pivot ball for the fork, inside rim of the TOB, and the input shaft. Then you will not have any clutch noise. -------------------- I will return one day. |
