seems theres a stray cat living in our garage.. it loves to sleep on my convertible top so it leaves paw prints all over the hood and hairs all over the canvas..
should I or should I not leave the garage door open??? |

what a moral dilemma. I would set up a bed for it... poor kitty needs somewhere to sleep

My roommate's cat is an outside cat and when I come home from work I have to call him in, or he's like a piece of metal and my car's a giant magnet. He's just attracted to the warm hood. I hate it especially after I just washed it that day.

Our family has 3 cats. I get footprints on the car all the time. Not to mention the fur on my bed.
But they got good body heat for the winter. |

A bed won't help. cats seem to know when a car is clean and where they're not suppose to go. I have the same problem with my cat.

well its been raining pretty regularly in the city and I usually leave the garage door open so the car would dry faster. I just washed my car like three weeks ago and got rid of all the cat hairs from the top but it rained last weekend and now the top is full of hairs again.. just cant win. |

Heh, same with me. But cats are so cute!
I accidently torched my friends cat while trying to burn off some rusty bolts on the muffler. His car smelled weird for a few days, but afterwards it was just fine. |

Try putting some towels on the hood, that's what my does with his mustang and my cat stays on the towels and doesn't touch the actual car.

I love my kitty. I really do. But the truth is I ain't got a lot of tolerance for the things when the neighbors cat started spraying on my rims. I no quiero that. Just scare the kitty-poo out of them sometime. I just waited in my car for about 5 mins until the neighbors cat came up one night. He was just getting ready to jump on my hood (he was right in front of the car.) When I leaned on the horn. It scared the poor little kitty, and it left my car alone after that.

i thought my cars were the only wierdo's to stay in the bathroom all the time, and let the dog roam the house free. but i got one cat that stands up to him all the time and scrates his face.

whewww, thank god your catylitic converter is ok, I was worried you were having problems with it
as far as cats go, I have two, one I never see and the other is a nutjob hes this fat ass yellow cat and he has some of the weidest habits, for instance, he'll leave me alone but if I go to the bathroom, and I dont close the door all the way, he'll open the door and bother me its kinda weird, annoying and kinda gross I cant get him to leave me alone while I'm on the Jon. and If I close the door he gets pissed, and starts howling, he's really messed up/obese --------------------
