Found this website on google. These can be fitted to the kits you guys have, since there basically decah copys and look identical. I might go for this deal. heres the link. Check out some of their custom body work. these guys are pretty good.

You know, I was like ready to buy a kit a few weeks ago but those kids at CT did not make up their mind, and I am a straight-up to the business person. I am not going to sit and wait with money in hand while those kids make up their mind. I am glad I didn't get that vertical door kit. It's ricy in my opinion. The only car that looks good with it is the Diablo. Current supercars have normal doors. That tells you something. It's like using "Altezza" style tails on cars other than the Altezza/IS300.

dont ever say that again.. lambo doors are not as cheap as altezza's and there not as ricey, there are very VERY few who have them compared to all the import cars out there and if it comes on a high class race car such as a lambo than dont u think that says something?

lambo doors are nice. especially if you're in the car show scene. if your car is a daily driver, i would have to say don't do it.
in my opinion, only do lambo doors if you have something nice in the interior to show (this only applies to car shows). for those who plan on getting a kit just make sure you take it to someone that knows what they're doing. the kit out on the market for our cars are decent but not great. i suggest getting a vertical doors univeral kit since the quality is so much better or a GT Factory kit. im thinking about changing out/selling my kit to either or since both the companies (vertical doors and gt factory) are giving me partial sponsorship. here are a few pics: This post has been edited by RCTCelica: Feb 8, 2006 - 8:44 PM |

lambo doors are ricey!! lol..wow, i cannot believe that was just said. I mean really, let me ask yall somethin..how many times have yall gone somewhere, supermarket..mall..school, or anythin of that degree, and as soon as u pull up and get down from the car, u start turnin heads and gettin compliments. To those of us with lambo doors on our cars, that happens all the time. I have never gotten a negative comment about my lambo doors..so doesnt that say something?!..
lambos just arent ricey.. n OOBE, if u think lambos are ricey, why did u even plan on getting them in the first place? -------------------- |

I do think lambo doors are rice, mostly because the cars around here with them are stupid kids in stock Civics and junk like that. I'm all about the engine with as little other weight on the car as possible. Lambo doors have their place in show cars, but for a car that's driven every day or even once a week they should just be forgotten. And for who said you open them at the store etc and get compliments, there must be some fast and the furious fans in your city, stuff like that here mostly gets laughed at lol. Madmods, you should try the helical-hinge doors from the Koenigsegg. That seems like a project you would like. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

That seems like a project you would like. i agree to a certain extent. i agree with the part that vertical doors are great in shows and shouldn't be on daily drivers since it is kinda inconvient. i disagree with the part that you get laughed at. any out of the ordinary things will grab attention whether its positive or negative. in my opinion vertical doors only look good with cars that have bodykits, rims, dropped, nice interior, etc... the whole point of vertical doors is (in a show) is to bring people to your car and show off the interior. if you have vertical doors with a stock interior at a show you will just get a glance and a few giggles here and there. |

yup..lambos are inconvinient, no doubt about that. N with lambos on my car, ive never even come close to being laughed at. I live in orlando, where im sure we have more of an import scene than "Kansas" blue94gt. So if anybody where to laugh at lambos, people down here would be the first ones, n that aint happenin. So i dont c y people in Kansas laugh at lambos.

My friend has lambos on his tricked out civic... It's his daily driver for now and I'll be the first to say a few things... 1) they're a pain in the ass everyday 2) they turn heads and grab attention like no other when I put them up.... no one has ever laughed.... even the crazy muscle car guys.....

not too sure if it's just my kit or do other people have this problem?
i had the kit for about 6 months, when i first installed it i couldn't pull down the door from the inside of my car (both driver and passenger sides). i figured the shocks/pumps needed to be broken in so i left it alone. now, six months later the doors still won't come down when i'm in the inside of the car. the only way to get them down to from the ouside. i have to push them down half way and do the rest from inside. is it normal for the shocks to be this stiff? its a good thing in a way but i would like to close my doors from the inside too. |
