I'm not sure if that's the definitive list, it seems to be missing 9L5 and a few others.

some more useful info
Toyota and Lexus color codes generally start with the prefix "C/TR" and the code will be three digits long, followed by more info. Ex. CTR202/LA09. 202 will be the color code. Your location will always be in the drivers door jamb. ![]() ![]() ![]() If your going to order paint i'd go with www.paintscratch.com because when you order if you give them your VIN #,which they ask for, they check to see if your car was repainted at any point and they also check to make sure you have the right paint code. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0

It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |

Mine's not listed. 1997 6p3 Deep Jewel Green Pearl or Supra Green had it called both one by a paint store and one by a body shop. Anyone know why 2 names
for same paint code? Edit:"Anyone know why 2 names for same paint code?" Dupont/ PPG never mind This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Sep 2, 2005 - 7:35 PM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

The first 3 characters on the bottom line of your VIN plate on the bulkhead in the engine bay give you your Toyota paintcode.

A PPG paint store can make you a spray or a touchup bottle. ^^
Does anyone know how these break down? The first digit is the color class. 0 for white 1 for silver tones 2 for black 3 for red and so on. Does any one know what the other 2 are for or why the middle is somtimes a number or letter. Help me crack the code and I'll buy you a slurpee.jk -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

I believe the last two just tell how new or old the color is. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stepho/colour.htm
example: 601 is the oldest green color then came 611, 614, 621, etc then on to 6A1..., 6C3..., 6M1..., 6P3..., 6S9..., 6U0... so 6P3 is a newer green than 6M1 ...do I get a slurpee now? ![]() This post has been edited by hurley97: Nov 16, 2006 - 2:08 AM -------------------- |

I dunno. It's almost like a graph that show hue and saturation. red green blue. ![]() -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
