Honestly check everything to make sure nothing has gotten inside of anything internally.......for ex: your distributer, airbox (cai); make sure no water has gotten inside connectors ( btwn were the male and female ends meet), if at most you might gotten the wrong thing wet, and now it might just need to be dried..........

QUOTE(Chanh55 @ Mar 5, 2006 - 4:47 PM) You rinsed your engine with a hose? You're crazy man. yea, i kno. but what else would i use to RINSE it? just following the advice of some friends who do the same thing and have no problems. QUOTE(Elevindie @ Mar 5, 2006 - 5:06 PM) pull the distributor cap off and see if there is water in there. thanx, man. i forgot about that. now i can get to school tomorrow. i after i rinsed it, i blew all the remaining water out and dried it. i checked the electrical connections and stuff. some stuff was still damp so i waited for EVERYTHING to dry. it's not like i took a pressure washer to it. i'll just have to remember the distributor next time. -------------------- |

I would've wipe it off with a damp rag. Glad you found the problem though. Did you take any before and after pics?
