how would i download the video "Toyota Celica GT Four Szene Hannover" on streetfire.net. i'd like to download it and burn it to a dvd to add to a collection of other car dvd's i have. ive tried the right click and save target as, and then it went to my desktop, and so i opend it with sonic record now and tried to burn it. but it didnt work. anyone have an idea?

p.s.- if yer lookin for the video on streetfire.net just type in gt four in the search engine on the site and 2 videos should come up. its the one with the red celica.

to be able to view video files on a dvd player you need to convert them to VOB files. Try going to www.winavi.com and use that converter.

nero is the best IMO

I use roxio media creator 8. You need some sort of dvd creation software to put a mpeg or avi or whatever that is into a dvd. either go out and get some dvd software or download something. once you have that then we can talk.

You guys are talking burning software, he needs to convert it for the dvd player to read it.

if any one has used nero before than they know what i'm talking about --

nero will do the conversion process and burn straight to dvd to make it readable in any dvd player --

i do alot of video editing and file conversions - nero has been the best

What nero tool are you using? I have nero, mine doesnt do that. I have version 6.

i've used nero 5 - 6 -7 - (ultra edition)

when you want to burn media contents - you simply select the file (any media file) and create menus editing - then burn -- mpeg are the best file format (quickest conversion) others like avi - that longer to complete

personally i did computer support for 2 years and tried many burn programs. i never liked nero... its not compatible with many drive manufacturers and seems to error a lot. Roxio has worked the best for me/ is very clear and easy to use, imo.

ok so either roxio or nero will record the video from the site, and make it so that i can burn it to a dvd? all i need to do is just sumhow download it to my pc so that its on my hard drive, and then burn it. or atleast get it so that its able to burn to a dvd.

no roxio and nero are not freeware, your not gana find true freeware stuff to be much good. I reccomend Ulead Video Studio 9 (I use for all my vcd/svcd/dvd video work as well as video converting its the best for quality as far as I have seen, nero is ok for making music cd's or just burning files but not for good video work.

ulead is good stuff. if you know where to look you can probably find a copy of something somewhere... try asking a friend who knows about computers if they have a copy or can hook you up.
