Back in June I was at my graduation practice crap and so afterwards my friends and I were sitting in the parking lot and one of my friends wanted to race me. He had a 95 Civic SOHC VTEC coupe 5sp. I have my ST with an intake. We left the parking lot and took off down a backroad. Pretty sure he gave up after being about 10 car lengths behind. Sure, you can say he did some crap shifting, but I don't think it was. I know he knows how to shift. Beating him now is out of the question, as he just got an older SE-R. Oh well.

After the "Race" we stopped outside of some elementary school and he jumped out saying "I want to see whats under the hood. Show me." He was suprised to see an intake and nothing more.

belive me ruel i know what your talking about and i know a rsx driver with gold rims intake and exhaust could be the same person but even though theres alot of annoying ricd out civics there are some quick hondas even some quick singles

The other day me and my brother went up to the gas station to get some petrol on the way back some dick in a civic comes tailgating us and than starts to try to undertake us my brother owns a 1985 cordia GSR Turbo he got all pissed off coz my bro had a turbo and the civic couldn't keep up and followed us to our house than made up some complete BS that we were going 150 km/h we were going 50 km/h he kept trying to walk down the driveway for a fight till he saw my dad and he dropped his nuts he also had a ricer muffler and an ugly gf. I Hate civics, hondas and honda owners complete bunch of a**eholes

I don't quite understand what your saying. Please use a couple capital letters and periods between sentences. Is english a second language to you? I don't understand why the guy is the Civic was mad, and followed you and tried to fight. Was he just mad because you were faster? That doesn't seem right.

He actually wanted to fight just because he was outrun by an older car? He didn't think your cheated or anything. If that's true, that guy is one heck of a soar loser. I've been beat before, and anytime it was by something I thought I should have beat, I was happy and just wanted to know what he had under the hood. In my old car, I got beat by this 4 door early 90's accord. It was about 4 different colors and looked like it had been peiced together from a junk yard. I normally wouldn't have raced him, but I could tell it was lower to the ground and he had some kind of aftermarket wheels and a loud exhaust. He ended up beating me, but not by much. I followed him to the next light and asked what he had going on under the hood. He had a H23 with header/exhaust/and intake and some kind of ECU control. I was impressed. I found out later, that I had left my a/c, and I might have beat him if I turned it off. Oh well, not all Honda guys are bad though, just 90% of them.

Well, I love my 97 st coupe. It will out run my friends 94 civic dx auto 4-door and another friend's 95 ex 5 speed manual with i/h/e. But, I'll take my 05 RSX-S over the celica any day.

The celica is a great daily driver. It's reliable, get's decent gas milage, looks good, and will get you from point A to point B without any worries. The Type S, in no way a pure speed demon, is decently quick and has a lot more goodies to play with.

Like someone said, you can't really "race" in a stock 6gc. My 6gc takes twice as long to get to 60 assuming I'm flooring it, than it takes to get the rsx-s to 80 mph. Besides, I've never gone 130 mph in my celica.

Not all honda/acura driver's are retards. Just because I own one doesn't mean I take it out looking to race every car next to me on the road. I'm more inclined to "race" in the celica just for the sheer amount of amusement it gives me when I actually come across something slower.

BBoyRuGGed I'm very happy you made this thread. A week and a half ago I made a thread called "Street Victories!" I was just looking for some 6g support on how people kicked these "bullies" azz!!! But after getting told repeatedly how slow damn celicas are (Duh i drive one) I sorta wish that I hadn't posted it. I was feeling the same way that you feel about all the civics and hondas that try to race you in your area. But instead of having damn civics I have ugly z28's and mustangs that constantly "pick" on me like bullies cause my celica looks FAST. I don't go out looking for race but you DO get tired of dumb a$$es trying to race you and call you out. The sad thing is I have a $low azz ST and can't do nothing about it... at least for now.

no one has ever tried to race me here atleast not hondas only old farts with hemis in their new dodge's. the only people that WOULD race me would kick my ass though. oh i have a story

I was talkin to my friend that owns a civic(doesnt run because he is too lazy to finish the swap) he was sayin stuff like man its gonna be so fast becuase this motor is set up for turbo(which it is and i have seen the car it was in and how quick it was) and i said oh yeah will it beat my bosses 71 camaro with a modified 454 and a 4 spd? then this jackass that he is friends with said" oh man those are so slow, i would kick his ass in my rx-7..when i get it done. my dad has a 454 and a 4 spd in his truck(HIS DAD DOES CONSTRUCTION AND IT'S THE WORK TRUCK)" and then he said he was gonna have about 40lbs of boost in his stock turbo.....what an ignorant prick

Well here in greece we too have lots of civics but most of them are riced out properly
My encounter with a civic was about 3 months ago. Me and my girl were going to meet some friends for drinks.So i'm at the light,so this civic with a wing borrowed from a 747 roll besides me .As a typical civic driver he stars reving is a$$ off>my girlfriend is like"no john thats for losers don't race him"the guy opens his window and starts dissing me to my girl ,my girl then rolls up the window and with this sure look on her face "orders" me to kick his honda ass .For my good luck i won then she rolls down the window and said"get a girlfriend and get a toyota "it was funny has hell

bahahaha the other day i was at this parking lot looking at a stop light and there was this hooked up civic and a truck on bags next to each other.. the civic revss up and blows off.. then the truck charges his tanks and lets off this huge ass amount of air from his bags aahah, i thought tht was pretty funny

I guess integras down here are the equivalent to civics up there...while we do have alot of them, most civics remain stock or below the good standards...(crappy condition) Integras though, people down here feel the need to throw on the chrome lights ugly tint, and a big big muffler.
