I am buying a 2nd 3sgte that has 550cc injectors, can these injectors be properly tuned with the stock ecu using an APEXi SAFC or would a standalone or rom tune be required?

yes... if you dont have heavy modification's like bigger turbo cams etc etc it will be very easy. i thing the 2nd gen of 3s-gte came with smaller injectors... something more like 450? i'm not so sure...
