very nice looking. You can bet it will never go out of style. Do i dare ask how much did u pay?

thanks guys for the commetns i got it all for 600

How did the hood and bumper + vents/ grills only cost 600?

It was from a guy whos on the boards but not a 6gc owners. Instead hes got a 5th gen camary which he plans on doing a 3s swamp in it. He had no need for the body parts. orginally i was only suppose to get the hood and bumper but when i went to go pick it up he still had the fenders and threw them in for free. Really nice guy.

i believe someone is selling the front clip shell with no engine in it. Im not sure its the same one but i assume it is.

I have just joined this club and already i have noticed A LOT of GT4 replicas. I am a member of 3 celica clubs in England and before today i have only ever seen 1 replica GT4.

How come so many people have replicas in America? Is it somethin to do with insurance ???? kindasad.gif

the official 94-99 gt-four was never sold in america, and is almost impossible to import a real one.

the best we can do is import the hood, bumper and rear spoiler and use them on our cars. some of us even went as far as to swap the 3sgte motor into our cars.... and a very small select few have managed to convert their cars to awd (very hard to do). these are the only option for celica owners in america. i wish i could have just gone out and bought a real gtfour, but its just not possible

frown.gif i had no idea it was that hard to buy one!! Why cant you import them from Japan? There are always at least 5 for sale locally (within 20miles) over here kindasad.gif

Since they were never imported by Toyota in the first place there is no crash test data etc for them... However in a few years they will be legal for import in Canada (any car over 15 years old can be imported to Canada) so that's what I'm waiting for.

because of customs laws. they wont let you import an entire car. but we can import one thats been cut in half (a front clip) and use that for its motor, since customs cosiders that "car parts". thats what swapers like me and a few other ones did. then we swap that motor over to our fwd celicas and have a car thats 2x the power of what it used to be.

there were maybe around 1-5 (that we know of) real GT4s that made it into america, because their owners found loop holes in the laws or paid lots of money to make happen.

nice car urban.. i noticed you lurking around gt4oc and alltrac.net for the gt-four conversion since last year.. it's good to hear that you finally found yours. i'm still waiting to get a set myself but so far i've had two potential sellers back out in the past. i'm still trying to see if i can get a used set than new... but if i can't get that, then i'm either getting an st205 front clip next year or a whole st205 in 3 years.

Urbandork always finds someway to outdo me... first he doesn't turbo my car... now he won't let me jack his side markers. Looks good man!

I'm surprised how well that white primer turned out... good job!
