Why do lots of people swap out their engine for the 3sgte engine?

Whats the deal?

Is there any other engines that would be better that could fit in my '94 GT hatchback?

Thanks.

well yeah there is a lot of other engines..we 6gc'er could use but for more power the 3sgte is the best..or the 4age or 4agze for the st....if you have the money go for the 1 or 2 jz motors..the reason why we use the 3sgte is because its the easiest and the motor drops right in....plus alot of people on these forums have the motor in already so if one of get stuck on a swap there is alot of people that has already done it.that could help..but yeah if you have the money then go for what ever engine you want...
