when i'm done mod price excluding cost of the car will total near 30,000$ or a little over

right now i sit around 10,000$ spent

And your not rocking a G35 because...

cause i already have a 2nd car.....that and the G35 doesn't float my boat too much
the 1.8T leather interior heated seat jetta fits my daily driving needs quite nicely....
imo better then a rodio wink.gif

I wasnt talking second car, I was referring to the extraordinary amount of money ur spending on a celica when you can easily buy a much nicer car, but w/e if you wanna take shots at 2nd cars like an immature lil kid then go for it, but no matter what you say I still didnt spend 30K on a Celica and prop my 1.8T on a pedestal when it got spanked by the Streetzking.

$15k plus on mods. Not a sound investment but definitely a fun hobby.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

its hobby you should know that just about as well as the next person on here...there really isn't a point in spending money modifing cars..it yeilds no investment or gain on return it just eats money and depreciates with the more you put into it.. its about the pure satisfaction and joy in doing something you love...and i didn't pedestal the jetta i mearly said it will do just fine...and yea nick beat me in a 1/10th mile race it was impressive..you over it yet? it wasn't that incredible

lets see:
1) Car $15,500

OMG, almost 16k for a celica.... JESUS

Anywho, my
car was $4500
CF Invader hood, bumper and sides = $450
rear bumper extensions and riser blocks about $350
PS2, TV/DVD/CD = $800
Rims and Tires = $900

So $7000 total for me.

P.s.
someone should go through and add up the total that EVERYONE spent on there car and see how much it is. Wonder if we got $150k worth of celica on here.

I havent spent near as much as most of you guys, most of my stuff has been for repairs or keeping it running...

3500 for the car 8 months ago.
400 on clutch + install.
300 for radiator, headgaskets and all new belts.
150 in misc. interior things such as the seat covers, paint, etc.
300 on deck + speakers.
250 for jdm tails
65 for the diff front lights and bulbs and what not.
500 new starter and new power steering pump + line.
900 for tires + rims
100 for bumper.
300 i think for the bullet sides.

Total of like 6800 for the car and everything ive done to it. . . To think i coulda bought a nicer car for 5k and saved some money. Celica is my dream car, so its all worth it. (other then a supra)

prolly around $9500 on exterior, performance, and maintenance for mine. car cost me $7k. $16,500 for a car that can hang with the 200+hp bigger boys for a much lower price (and looks better than most biggrin.gif )...money well spent i would say smile.gif
