naw man easy setup, i had to modify the center dash insert a little so that the guages could fit under the stereo. Then it was alot of measuring, a little bit of troubleshooting with the mechanical face, and some wiring. Pretty easy.
thanks, i like the tails dark too. I just tinted them a little bit, not too much. -------------------- ![]() The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed? |

thanks guys. so everything is all mounted. I tied in my voltage meter, cuz thats easy, and I tied in my oil pressure gauge. this one is weird. i reads around 42 psi when I first turn the car on, but as the oil warms up it goes down. all the way down to about 6-15 psi. My oil level is fine so what could be the cause of this? any ideas?

Nate, when you first start the car, the pressure will be high. After it warms up, it will drop and the idle will be anywhere between 5-10 psi. At WOT it will probably be around 35-45 psi.
when the oil is cold, it flows slower and the pressure is higher at start up, once it is fully hot (warmed up) is flows easily (idle - lower). -------------------- |

At WOT it will probably be around 35-45 psi. when the oil is cold, it flows slower and the pressure is higher at start up, once it is fully hot (warmed up) is flows easily (idle - lower). when I first turn it on it sits around 40psi(good) but as soon as i let it warm up, or drive it, it drops down to like 6-15(sometimes lower). it isnt until it cools again and i restart the car that it will get back anywhere near 35-40psi. I drove the car today for about 3 hours, on the highway, and it never peaked over 15 psi. after all that it was around 4psi at idle. so your saying this is normal? cuz its kinda scaring me that my gauges are constantly blinking at me cuz the level is so low. -------------------- ![]() The question is not how far. have you checked your oil lately ?
![]() also, a common thing is that sometimes the fitting will leak if not taped properly and you could be leaking oil, causing a drop in pressure. -------------------- |

Yes the oil level is fine, and i checked the sensor and adaptor for leakes and I didnt get any. But in the instructions it told me not to tape it because it gets a ground from the engine block so i didnt, should I do it anyway? -------------------- ![]() The question is not how far.
