Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and a new owner a white '97 Celica.

I'm thinking about a new set of rims and wanted 19", but i as yet haven't seen any Celica's with 19" rims. Is there something stopping these rims from actually being fitted? kindasad.gif

Yeah there are a few of us floating around with 19"s I had them daily, but from what ive noticed they tend to be on more show cars.

19x8 225/35-19 Toyo Proxies, KYB GR-2's w/ Tein Tech-S springs. Gotta remember tho when you put the 19"s on your lifting your car higher then stock, so drop is needed or you like a toy car.

FYI ST's becomes dogs with 19"s, as well I reccomend the all wheel disc conversion.

I am considering gettin a set of 20"s next.

I have 35 series tyres on my car with a 3" drop.... But it the inside where the strut tower is close to the tyre you will have problems..

Also if you go a bigger profile a 35 tyre you will change the rolling diameter if your wheel. Here in Oz you can have 20mm larger than your standard wheel.....
