cool. looks fun and light-weight. what engine's in it? im assuming its not a gt4 because of the body panels, tail lights and you cant see the diffuser/gas tank thing. neat little celica, nonetheless.

btw, where are the headlights?

You guys joke all you want, but a 5sfe would be a pretty good track motor. It has a good bit of torque, and with the right modifications it can be a pretty decent motor. And I'm talking about it in it's NA form. With a turbo or supercharger, you wouldn't really need much more hp for track use.

yup, on a short course with many turns, the power doesnt make much of a difference, it lies in your cornering enrty-exit and consistency.

plus the reliability of the n/a 5s is hard to beat!

I love it, but come on, I see more weight you could trim. Get rid of the rest of the dash (I've seen it done in autocross celicas), get rid of the spoiler, get rid of that little plastic thing on the back that says celica, etc.... I assume you've got all headlining and tar deadening out.... get to work and quit being lazy!
