So the other dday i was doing some cleaning under my hood. I tinfoiled off all the important electrical areas and lightly sprayed everything with cleaner + hose, and scrubbed everything off. Drying it ect. Drove it for about 100 km and everything was ok. The next day i started it up and it wasnt running very well. I got onto the freeway and the power just wasnt there, and after flooring it a few time it backfired. I pulled to a rest area, and plugged my spark plug plugs in again (cause i pulled them out to clean em) and evetryhing was back to normal. Now, 2 days later, i start the car up again and theres some new problems. First it took a few revs to start engine engine. about 3x more than usual. Then when it started it was running rough. After that it as soon as i passed 1/4 throttle there just wouldnt be any power, no matter what gear i was in, and i would hear a fairly loud chirping sound ? .. any ideas ?

Edit. The chirping is caused because the exhaust is coming out in bursts.. and i havea smalll hole in my pipes. Argh. Still a major issue though.

you can check if the spark plugs (one of them) is cracked...a small crack can cause loss of power....boggling...that's what happened to me...had to replace the spark plug...
