LHD was sold in Europe, so if his guy is doing importing from Japan you'll probably have to settle for RHD.

as of now, SMP motors is only importing from Japan, once the market gets bigger and grows. We will start importing from Europe too. So can we? most likely. Will we? dunno yet, we still have to find a reliable contact in Europe. Most likely though, a LDH gt4 is gonna cost more than a RHD. Mainly because its going to be found on mainland, so we would have to get it shipped from mainland europe, to a port, so either Nice, Cannes, Monico, Rotterdam, or some where on a coast in europe, then get it shipped by boat to us, then shipped across canada again to us in toronto, then back to where you are. Where as from japan, most of the car we are buying are coming from big city costal towns, so its from the lot, to the port, from japan to vancouver, off the boat still in the container, to toronto, then from Scarbrough (east end of the city) to Etobicoke(west end). Very minimal shipping and relatively inexpensive. We could, but dont even know if we are gonna be able 2 at the cost you want, and if its gonna be somethin the business can afford.

and what do you mean "settle for a RHD"? RHD is soooo much more fun to drive with. Plus much more unique.

FTO? or GTO? GTO would be easier than FTO. I havent seen any FTOs for sale thus far, but plenty of GTOs.

Well, its...semi offical that im the newest member of the SMP motors team. Only thing i have to do to really get fully into the buiesness is get my car salesmen lisence ($800) and im good. I talked to my friends, they said that importing cars from any country to the states is an iffy topic right now. They think there is going to be/is a complete ban on importing cars, but they are going to look into it. He is also seeing if he can track down some FTOs for you. He said they are rare in japan because not many people liked them plus they are netorius for their transmissions. But he said he will see what he can do.

Now, my delema, car choise to represent the company...

i'm feeling the toyota or the skyline, either skyline is fine, but you seem like a hardcore toyota fan, so get the mr2 if it makes you happy, 300z are notorious for breaking down when you make more power, why not get both the mr2 and a skyline? but to represent a shop, i'd say skyline, at least here in the States you'd get a good rep, not sure how popular skylines are in canada though
