i have 225/45/17 falken zeix ze 512's on my 17x8 Mille Miglia HT3's. (rim offset is 35+mm) i wouldnt go larger then 225. Mine come way close to rubing on Eibach Sportlines.

I have 225/45/17 Yokohama ES100s on Tanabe springs, doesnt rub but anything wider would run the risk on bulging on the rim..

im getting 18/ 7.5's on mine with 235 35's so i am also thinking the 235 are to wide for the 7 inch
