The 7gc in either trim level is a superior car to the 6gc in the North American market.
Although I bet 95% of people would say that the 6gc is a much better looking car. Apples and apples. |

well 6gc or 7gc I still like both of them fairly the same. Toyota is a toyota. the only reason why toyota is not making such nice performance cars is because they are more towards family cars now. but back to subject both the 6 and 7gc is great. both a celica. hate on teh 7th u hate on the 6th

The 7th gen is a really nice car. I wouldn't mind owning one. However, the 6th gen is A LOT hotter.

However, the 6th gen is A LOT hotter. thats how i feel, i used to not like 7th gens at all but lately they have grown on me, plus i rode in my friends and the interior felt similar to the 6th gen.. which is what i love |

That bronze looks just like the Duplicolor Bronze wheel paint you can get in Autozone, Advanced Autoparts, Wal-Mart, etc....one can will do the trick if you do about 2 generous coats which is plenty. I used Duplicolor Gunmetal as seen below in my sig....I did about two coats on all four wheels using one can and with plenty left over. As far as the topic at hand goes, I really believe that both cars are superb. I love the interior build quality and timeless curves of the 6th generation Celica, as well as the agressive look and attitude of the 7gc, along with the option of an awesome N/A motor in the form of 2ZZGE. After I drove a 7th gen GT-S 6-speed I almost sold my 6th gen to buy one i liked it so much, but I also love the Celica I have now. Both are great in many different ways. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

sorry... but what is the 7gc GTS?
Over here in the UK we have 2 models, 140 190 which relates to the bhp. All 7gc celica's are very slow compared to my 6gc -------------------- Forged rebuild very soon....will be setup at 420bhp

All 7gc celica's are very slow compared to my 6gc Also compared to mine! But in Europe we have the 3S-GE GT 175 bhp, which is even faster as the 192 bhp T-sport version of the 7gc, and I believe the 3S-GE engine never made it to America due to emission issues. However I do like the front look of the 7th gen, but overall I believe the looks of the 6th gen are much, much better -------------------- JDM ST205
