Is this too good to be true? ill admit, i just got into the import scene and dont really know much about tuning cars, just the common knowledge, and i was wondering if you guys could tell me if this thing is a rip off, or if it really does give you around 20 horsepower for only 20 bucks. heres the link :

you are better off taking 20 bucks and filling up your gas tank. These things are a waste of money.

I too would go with my better judgement and assume those things are crap. This would also cause me to say that all the positive feedback is from ignorant or people unaware of what this thing does, seems like some kinda placebo effect. I personally havent tried it, nor do i know anyone who has, but it just doesnt seem good for a car.

Or gas. -------------------- |

u'd get more wiping your arse with a $20 bill than buying a 1cent resistor in a pretty little box, which the only thing is does is mess up your air flow reading to your ECU and royaly messes up your efficiency

Those things are crap. I can bet you that 20 bucks that its the Air Intake Sensor Replacement that makes your car read a certain air ratio. ****s up your car galore. If you have a reading of more air than your car is getting that means your fuel is being burnt 2 fast. I think its something around there. Otherwords doesn't maintine a balance in the air/fuel raito.
Something I Learned on ebay. If its cheap, has a flashy sell that keeps repeating how awsome it is. Its a peice of ****. You can by a modified civic Ram air for our celica for 20 bucks. |
