All I have to say about it is this...

Hands down the BEST movie I have ever seen.

right up there with the my top 3 right by sin city and Saw.

The Red Pyramid: Awesome Character

Colin The Rapist: Creepy as normal person, Scary as Hell as a ghost. (look for some odd body distortions for those who havent seen the movie yet)



I could go on and on. Im not a movie critic but i dont see why this movie didnt do better in theatres. i was really impressed.

Its really a "you love or hate it" kinda movie. I didnt really play the game a whole lot, but did have a few moments with it back in my childhood.

GO RENT IT

Loved the game, movie blew chunks. For those who didnt MASTER the video game, I dont see how you could have understood the movie.

I thought it was farely simple to understand. I wasnt really happy with the ending i will admit, too sixth sensy...but i loved the movie. I bought it saturday and have actually watched it 4 times since then.

oh yeah, and since were on the subject of movies, i also bought Final Destination 3 and its so so. Just like the other 2, alot of brain matter and blood is basically the movie. It was pretty cool seeing what a metal radiator fan off of an old Chevy could possibly do to the back of someones head though. : )

i havent seen silent hill the movie yet, not sure if i want to, but i know that all the games have been phonomenal, just all Konami games are. sides, just seems like all horror movies are so, cliche' and i just dont get anything out of them anymore.

I like the movie so much because there isnt all that CGI bull $h*t. Computers are ruining movies. I mean, there are moments were CGI is used. But for the most part, ALL of the characters were actually actors. The Guy that played the Red Pyramid was on stilts strapped to his boots which made him look extremely tall. He was also the same guy who played Colin in the movie...the only thing CGI about colin is his legs. im not gonna give away why, but you'll see.

I think the reason i found it so creepy is just because of the way the Ghosts move. Its all like a nightmare.

lol... please dont tell me theres not alot of CGI in this movie... about 40% of the movie was CG. But ya the ending sucked as well. And the Red Pyramid was definatly the best bad guy of all time. Hes just so...cool...

played the games, enjoyed the movie, worth the rent, and yes pyramid head is really badass with the great knief

man, how the hell do you guys know the names of the characters?

when i was watching the movie i was like, WTF is up with that guy, why does he have a big beak looking thing on his head

and who is colin the rapist?

just trying to understand more. i never played the games

haha, see, he proved my point, if you havent mastered the game you got no idea who the hell these people are or whats going on.

silent hill > resident evil. IMO. although resident evil is still freakin awesome.

The Red Pyramid is the big beak guy your referring to and he just one of the creatures in the nightmare world...no real story behind him. Colin the Rapist is the twisted F*cked up dude wrapped in barb wire in the bathroom stall. He Rapped The mom of sharon (the little girl in 1960's silent hill), which made her pregnant with the sharon. The town people thought it was wrong, so they burned her alive. Except it didnt kill her. While in the hospital on the respirator and what not, sharon developed a hate so deep that she was able to make a deal with the devil which in a way made her immortal and Obviously dangerous. There were 3 different sharons. The Evil demented messed up sharon in the nightmare world in her burnt form. The scary lookin sharon in the dead grey world, and what was left of the good sharon in the normal world.



Hopefully ive cleared it up somewhat.

Saw, Silent Hill, and Sin City are your favorite movies?

this movie sucked for me. good thing i saw it for free. i would never have paid a dime for it. too many time i was like "wtf"....

i thought it was a good movie, gory, but good. had i understood everything, it probably would have been a great movie for me

Sharon is Alessa. Or whats left of her thats good anyway. Colin Raped Alessa's mom, making her pregnant with Alessa. Thats why the Town people burned her alive. Because they were flippin crazy and they thought that it was wrong for a child to be born out of a act like that.

The ending made me pissed off! The stupid evil girl got into Sharon and now the mom can't get out of Silent Hill. That pisses me off.

She got out of the city. Shes just in that otherworld.

Biker cop was sexy. I expect to see good things out of the actress that played sharon/alessa
